I have been a runner for the past 8 years thanks to James for encouraging me. I started with a 5k race and quickly developed a passion for running and working with charities.

Blog - 2: Events versus training!
I seem to be entering a period where I am doing a lot of events. You read many things about targeting one main event and training for that, and while I chose the vitruvian in September as my goal race I seem to be overloaded in the run up.

Mark is a Police sergeant in the Met, and races for the Met Tri club. In 2010 he has entered 12 triathlons including Windsor, London and Vitruvian.
Blog - 1: Saturday morning 0500 and I am up to prepare for my first open water swim of the season, I have an event tomorrow but in my head have factored this into my training.
