The Great Escape

You’ve found three colleagues to drag through the mud, hike with you over tough terrain, ready to be pushed to their physical and mental limits – now sign up for the Great Escape and you’ll be ready to start serious preparations to make sure you’re fit enough to pitch yourself against the 59 other teams who want to beat you.

Designed to be the ultimate out of office adventure, the Great Escape will test every aspect of your fitness with off road running, cycling, hill sprints, strength and agility events.

As well as this, the 10 hour event will challenge your team’s strategic planning, lateral thinking and engineering skills.  Your actual mission and the nature of the challenges won't be revealed until you're on the start line so you need to be prepared for anything.

To keep motivation high you should meet and train regularly with you team members to spur each other on. To motivate others you have to be motivated yourself – be enthusiastic and confident of your own success and your team will follow willingly.

There are separate training plans for cycling and running and you will find key tips to help you get the right nutrition – key to getting the best results from your training.

Make sure your check list of what to take to the event includes the right sports supplements. Take plenty of protein and energy bars to fuel your challenge as well as sports energy drinks.
